This beautifully restored vintage map of Brunswick stretches from Moreland road in the north all the way down to Park street, where you can see the old outer city loop including North Carlton and North Fitzroy stations, which of course is now the running track!
All the parks are included, Fleming, Temple, Methven and AG Gillon oval as well as the tranquil Merri creek snaking its way down to Fitzroy. All four northern tram lines are shown, with the 96 route following the bend around Nicholson street north.
Also included are fascinating adverts from the time, including Triumph motorcycles, Mitchell’s wines and the state savings bank of Victoria offering 4 percent interest on as little as one shilling!
Available in 11x14 (inches), 16x20 (inches) or 600x800 (mm) this print has been professionally restored to remove major blemishes, creases and marks from the original scanned document. Minor imperfections will remain to provide the character this vintage map exudes.
